He hadn't seen Sirius cry since Regulus had died. It had been all of them that day, James and Lily and even Peter. And now Remus wondered if Peter had been betraying them even then.
He wrapped his arms around Sirius, holding him closer as he wept. "He fooled us all, Sirius. We all thought we could trust him." Which, truly, only made it worse. "You couldn't have known, Sirius. None of us could have."
