The muscles at the back of Remus' shoulders loosened and if his sigh sounded a bit like relief, maybe he could be excused that. "I love you, too," he murmured, pulling back to look at Sirius' face. "Always have, always will."

And maybe he sometimes worried too much that someone like him wasn't really good enough for Sirius, but then, Remus sometimes thought that he wasn't good enough to be friends with James, either. James, on the other hand, wouldn't have anything to do with that and would tell Remus so.

He grimaced slightly. "We're going to have to tell Dumbledore about Peter being an Animagus." That wasn't something that was going to stay secret, after all.
