"I don't know." As much as he didn't want to lose Sirius, he also knew that this would probably come very close to breaking his lover entirely. "I wish I knew, I wish I could go back and find a way to change things so that none of this would happen." He reached out, laying his hand against Sirius' thigh. Only a light touch to let the other man know he was still there.
